The Perfect Home Cinema Experience

Don’t feel like dragging the kids out and spending a load on tepid popcorn to sit through a film you don’t really want to see? Great news! Build your own cinema and home and save all the hassle. Nowadays you can build your own at home for a small investment..

Obviously you’ll need a sizeable screen, but compared to old tube televisions, large modern TVs are relatively inexpensive. You can find large LED and Plasma televisions for under a grand, but for the authentic experience you’ll want to opt for a high def projector setup. Obviously this will require its own preparation and you should make sure you have a large, flat and neutral coloured surface to project on. Also consider things like a digital TV recorder and LG Blu-Ray Player to enhance the experience, especially if you intend to use it as a general TV room.

Another factor for consideration when constructing your home cinema is the flooring in the room. You should looking into carpeting the room you want to turn into your home cinema as carpet will absorb the sound waves, resulting in a better sound quality. Hardwood floors and tiles will reflect sound, resulting echo and feedback that will diminish your experience, especially if you have a multiple channel surround sound system.

Also consider accessorising your home cinema for a more authentic experience. Popcorn or hot dog machines will add that finishing touch!
